A Financial Analyst in Your Corner

Robinhood Adjusting was built on a simple premise: the money your insurance policy promises you should actually reach you. Most public adjusters come from contracting backgrounds. I come from finance — a decade of institutional investment analysis, fund management, and deal structuring across the US, Brazil, and Latin America.

That means when I open your claim, I approach it the way an investor approaches a deal: methodically, with documentation, and with an eye on every line of the policy and every line of the estimate.

Insurance companies employ trained adjusters whose job is to settle claims quickly and for as little as possible. My job is the opposite — to make sure you understand what your policy actually covers, document your loss thoroughly, and negotiate the settlement you're entitled to.

I serve residential and commercial property owners throughout South Florida. I'm fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish — because no one should have to navigate an insurance claim in a language that isn't theirs.

What We Do From First Call to Final Check

Four steps. No upfront cost. No obligation until you decide to move forward.

01

Free Claim Review

We review your policy, the loss, and any prior communications from your carrier — at no cost and no obligation. You'll leave knowing exactly where you stand.

02

Damage Documentation

We conduct a thorough inspection, photograph and document all damage, and prepare a complete estimate that captures everything your policy may cover.

03

Claim Filing & Negotiation

We file or reopen your claim, communicate directly with the insurance company on your behalf, and push back on underpayments and denials.

04

Settlement

We don't close until you've received a fair settlement. Our fee is a percentage of what we recover — so we only get paid when you do.

Residential & Commercial Policyholders

Whether it's your home, a rental property, or a commercial building, you have rights as a policyholder that most insurance companies won't volunteer to explain.

🌀

Hurricane & Wind Damage

South Florida's most common loss type. Wind damage, roof claims, and storm surge often lead to disputes over coverage scope and repair methodology.

Water & Plumbing Losses

Sudden pipe bursts, appliance failures, and water intrusion claims are frequently underpaid or partially denied. We know where to look.

Fire & Smoke Damage

Fire claims involve complex line-by-line estimates for structure, contents, and additional living expenses. An independent adjuster is critical here.

Denied or Underpaid Claims

Already got a settlement that felt low? Claims can often be reopened. Don't accept a carrier's first offer as the final word.

Referral Partners & Trade Professionals

You're first on the scene. When your customer has insurance-covered damage, you can offer them a resource that costs them nothing and protects their claim.

Plumbers & Water Mitigation

Water damage is one of the most disputed claim types. When you find a loss, connecting your client with a PA can mean the difference between a fair claim and a closed door.

Roofers & General Contractors

Insurance adjusters and contractors frequently disagree on scope and pricing. We negotiate independently so your estimate gets a fair fight — without you being in the middle.

HVAC & Appliance Technicians

Equipment failure often triggers a broader claim. Your clients may not realize they're entitled to more than just the repair. A quick referral changes their outcome entirely.

Property Managers & HOAs

You manage multiple properties and claims are a recurring reality. Having a trusted PA in your corner keeps your residents covered and reduces your administrative burden.

Real Estate Agents

Your clients buy and sell properties. When damage surfaces — during inspection, after closing, or mid-tenancy — you can be the person who pointed them to the right resource.

Home Service Professionals

House cleaners, caregivers, and nurses are often the first to notice damage in the properties they visit. A simple referral costs nothing and builds goodwill with the families you serve.

Become a Referral Partner

There's no formal program to join and no paperwork. Just a relationship. If you ever encounter a client with an insurance claim, give us a call — we'll handle everything from there.

Common Questions

No jargon. Straight answers.

How much does a public adjuster cost?
Public adjusters in Florida work on contingency — typically a percentage of the final settlement. There is no upfront fee, and if we don't recover more for you, you owe us nothing. The exact percentage is disclosed and agreed upon before we begin any work.
Can I hire a public adjuster after I've already filed a claim?
Yes. You can engage a public adjuster at any point during the claims process — even after a settlement offer has been made or after a partial denial. Many of our best outcomes come from reopened or disputed claims.
Will hiring a public adjuster slow down my claim?
Not typically. The process may take longer than accepting a carrier's first offer, but the goal is a thorough and fair settlement — not a fast one that leaves money on the table. We move as quickly as the claim documentation allows.
What types of properties and claims do you handle?
Residential and commercial properties throughout South Florida. Common claim types include wind and hurricane damage, water and plumbing losses, fire and smoke damage, and business interruption claims. If you're unsure whether your situation qualifies, a free review will tell you.
Do you handle cases in Spanish or Portuguese?
Yes. I'm fully fluent in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese and handle claims in all three languages. For many South Florida policyholders, having an adjuster who speaks your language makes a significant difference in understanding what's happening with your claim.
What is the difference between a public adjuster and a claims attorney?
A public adjuster handles the adjustment and negotiation process — documenting damage, preparing estimates, and presenting your claim to the carrier. An attorney handles disputes that reach litigation. Most claims are resolved at the adjustment stage. If litigation becomes necessary, we work alongside your legal counsel.
